Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we all sat together and read about the birth of Christ from the Scriptures.  The girls each grabbed their dolls and pretended that they were baby Jesus.  It was very cute.  Brecken also drew a picture for Jesus and left in in our Special red box that we filled a few weeks earlier by writing down what our gifts to Christ would be this year.  On Christmas Eve we also let each of the children open a gift...new Christmas Pajamas, and this year they had a special surprise and had matching Christmas Blankets as well.  Then Before sitting out cookies for Santa and sending the kids off to bed, Kaysn read the girls the book of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.'  It was a nice evening spent together before the kids scurried off to bed and struggled to sleep as they waiting for the excitement of the Christmas Morning.
